 ”We shot a sequence, Liv Tyler and I, in Lorien, and we’re walking around, and it’s when I’m still wearing clothes that are more like something you’d see Legolas wearing. I have no beard. I have really long hair, and it’s partly in a braid. And, I’m wearing definitely elvish kind of clothing. I look like some young elvish lord. I think I’m barefoot, walking in these flowers with her. And because of our aging thing, we look similar. I look a little younger than usual, the no beard helps and all that.”

Unfortunately the deleted scene of Legolas and Haldir was not included in any of the extended editions, although Peter Jackson has talked about an ‘Ultimate Edition’ featuring all unused scenes like this one. If it is released then I expect it will be released with ‘The Hobbit’ DVDs, so fingers crossed!

I have more pictures of deleted scenes so I’ll see what I can find for you. If you look at my previous posts you’ll find there’s more photos there too :)
